Promoting Healthy Civic Space: CCECP envision a community where all individuals have the opportunity to actively participate, engage in meaningful dialogue, and contribute to shaping their collective future. Our application for a for this program stems from the recognition that a well-supported and accessible civic space can play a transformative role in empowering individuals, strengthening social cohesion, and promoting democratic values.

Security Sector Reform & Governance: Promoting accountability and transparency in security institutions is a central goal of CCECP. It involves establishing mechanisms to address complaints and allegations of misconduct, human rights and abuses within the security sector.

Policy and Legislative Advocacy: We engage state actors to design a transparent and accountable security and peace policies, programs and agenda influenced by local initiatives and context to build local strength and help communities transform into peaceful societies.

Gender, Peace, and Security: We believe peace and security is a process driven by active public trust, understanding, dialogue, and positive engagement with others, founded on trust and respect with gender lenses.  

Building Livelihood: Building livelihoods can lead to sustainable economic growth, poverty reduction, and improved quality of life for individuals and communities. By empowering people to be self-reliant and economically independent, livelihood-building initiatives contribute to building stronger and more resilient societies.

Research: We believe social change begins with capacity and data drive advocacy responsibility and is sustained when people are actively engaged in creating the shared future of their community.
